Pegasus - Harris Trophy and Cup

Two teams entered this annual adult rider showcase this year. Double Dees - Christine Christian, Kathy Lynch, Kym Murdoch and Helen Bowler. Fifty Shades of Neigh - Jill Newman, Kirsten Regos, Becky Speed and Sue Ruston were our second superstar team.

WRC thanks the Pegasus Riding Club for hosting a great day for the Harris and Pegasus Trophies.

It was a brilliantly organised day with great sponsorship, and awesome marshals and officials.

WRC also thanks the members who came along to support the WRC teams and who volunteered to help with jobs on the day. Thanks Veronica for calling those tests! Especially as Domingo pulled a flying change (not required at this level) although you didn’t tell that to Helen.

The WRC teams did great. Fifty Shades of Neigh won the Harris Trophy (Dressage) and thanks Hairy Pony for the fantastic prizes they received.

The Double Dees were also a classy team to watch with some lovely tests ridden and a great result.

It's fair to say that all WRC riders had a win of some form during the day, with some young horses gaining experience, and some new challenges taken on by riders.

WRC look forward to being involved again next year.
