May Hacknix - Mount Grey

In a unique partnership with Equestrian Advocacy Canterbury/West Coast led by Julia McLean Waimakariri Riding Club Hacknix took off up Mt Grey this month. Huge thanks to Julia and Christine for leading the groups on the bluest and sunniest May day ever! Amazing views and stunning scenery. Riders enjoyed themselves for various reasons. Kathy enjoyed no wind and her increasingly well-mannered pony! Liz said “I think admiring the view by the trig point in the sunshine looking at the Pegasus bay on one side and the mountains on the other side!” On the other hand Ariki got rather hot and was a decent test of his fitness so make sure you have a fitish horse for this ride. The boots were good. In summary, if you get a chance when Julia advertises them take the chance for fabulous views.
