A year wouldn't be complete without a Christmas Ribbon Day for Waimakariri Riding Club! This year no exception. 50 horses and riders entered either the led classes in the morning and/or the afternoon ridden classes.

This year we had some exceptional ring sponsorship particularly from TS Architects and Saunders, Robinson and Brown who not only sponsored a Ring each they also sponsored the Championship and Reserve ribbons and beautiful halter sashes. North Canterbury EarthMoving also sponsored a beautiful garland you can see below with Tracey and Richie. Within each ring we also had wonderful vouchers for goods and services, bags of chaff from Greenacres StockFeed, bags of barley from Summerhill feeds. Each competitor also received a FMG hoof pick and gift pack when they registered! Finally, our Supreme Champion received a fabulous cup donated by our very own Helen Bowler who won the supreme last year.
